Ramlösa Shipping is a Swedish investment company that invests in international shipping by owning shares in selected vessels.
The company was founded in 2022 by a team with many years of experience in asset management, shipping, and investments.
Ramlösa continuously evaluates various opportunities to acquire entire vessels or parts thereof. The guiding principle is that the expected return should be satisfactory on a risk-adjusted basis relative to invested capital, and that the overall portfolio should remain well diversified in terms of risk, taking into account exposure to different geographic regions, various shipping segments, and different types of charter agreements.
The vessels are assessed based on year of manufacture, technical condition, market segment, existing charter agreements, and, not least, the seller's price expectations and estimated exit opportunities.
The vessels are owned by acquisition companies located in appropriate jurisdictions. Whole or partial ownership of these acquisition companies is held by Ramlösa.
Ramlösa’s organization consists of a team of individuals with extensive experience in shipping and investments, along with a large network of seasoned investors in the shipping market, positioning the company to identify and manage successful shipping investments.
